Abattoir worker — Adavi

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Adavi, Kogi State. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. The role involves dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Six days a week, one day off.
