Now hiring: we are hiring an access control officer in Daura, Katsina State. The job is at a shopping mall. You should have: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours The role involves: • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes • Respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
