Container truck driver — Soba

We are recruiting: we are hiring a container truck driver in Soba, Kaduna State. You will be based at a haulage company. What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
