Earthmoving equipment operator — Fayette County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Fayette County, West Virginia. The job is at an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Rotating shifts.
