Brickwork mason • Luton, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Luton, England. You will work on a commercial construction site. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage You will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. We offer £17 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
