Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Shagamu, Ogun State. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays On a typical shift you will cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in.
