Vertical milling machine operator — Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Montgomery County, Ohio. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
