D6/D8 dozer operator • Polk County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Polk County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters On the job you will handle: • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Six days a week, one day off. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
