Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Soreng, Sikkim. You should bring comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces; able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard. The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
