Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Kura, Kano State. Requirements: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Your main tasks: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
