Crawler crane operator — Madison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Madison County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
