Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Mills County, Texas. The job is at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day to day you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity.
