Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Pasco County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
