Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Warrington

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Warrington, England. Day to day you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
