Now hiring: excavator operator (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Derby, England. On the job you will handle: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Full-time with occasional weekends.
