Counter butcher • Balanga, Gombe State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a counter butcher in Balanga, Gombe State. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On a typical shift you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Contact us to fix an interview.
