Landscape gardener wanted in Morgan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Morgan County, Alabama. You will be based in a residential garden complex. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
