Great opportunity: D6/D8 dozer operator (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Union County, Illinois. You will be based on a quarry floor. Day to day you will operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; refuel the machine and record running hours. Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Six days a week, one day off.
