Immediate opening: painter and decorator (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Marshall County, Kentucky. You will be based in a factory paint shop. On a typical shift you will sand and fill walls before applying primer; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames. Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
