Halal butcher — Cass County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Cass County, Iowa. You will work in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
