On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size.
