Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Tazewell County, Illinois. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
