Retail butcher wanted in Platte County

Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Platte County, Missouri. You will work in a supermarket meat department. On the job you will handle: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
