Short order cook • Carson City, Nevada

We are recruiting: we are hiring a short order cook in Carson City, Nevada. The job is in a hotel kitchen. On a typical shift you will plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Six days a week, one day off.
