Great opportunity: we are hiring a wood machinist in Calhoun County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Your main tasks: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
