Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Boripe, Osun State. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper 4+ years on the tools preferred.
