Urgent requirement: halal butcher (Ondo State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Akure North, Ondo State. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
