Great opportunity: we are hiring a digger driver in Surry County, Virginia. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Rotating shifts.
