What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day-to-day duties: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics 3+ years on the tools preferred.
