Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Comanche County, Texas. You will be based at a busy tyre bay. On the job you will handle: • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine Requirements: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
