Presser wanted in Conwy

Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Conwy, Wales. The job is at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
