Canteen cook — Gaya

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Gaya, Kano State. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies The role involves: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
