Urgent requirement: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Cornwall, England. The job is at a logistics warehouse. The role involves carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. Ideal candidate: • Valid digital tachograph card • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel 5+ years on the tools preferred. £125 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
