Mobile crane operator — Maru

Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Maru, Zamfara State. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work Rotating shifts.
