Offshore rigger wanted in Chibok

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Chibok, Borno State. The job is at a container port. On a typical shift you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. ₦270,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
