Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Middlesbrough, England. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
