Day to day you will check best-before and expiry dates on every box; inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals; shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets; count units and confirm the correct quantity per carton. Ideally you have attention to detail for date codes and labelling; previous experience on a packing or production line. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
