Fettler • Taura, Jigawa State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Taura, Jigawa State. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 1+ years on the tools preferred.
