Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Androscoggin County, Maine. You will work in a residential garden complex. The role involves mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
