Now hiring: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Camp County, Texas. On a typical shift you will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Six days a week, one day off.
