Banksman — Orsu

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Orsu, Imo State. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
