Stitching operator — Ipokia

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Ipokia, Ogun State. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
