Mechanical press operator wanted in Douglas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Douglas County, Oregon. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Part-time with flexible hours.
