You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day-to-day duties: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair Six days a week, one day off.
