Backhoe operator • Newport, Wales

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Newport, Wales. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly 3+ years on the tools preferred.
