Meat cutter — Colbert County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Colbert County, Alabama. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; season and marinate meat on request; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
