Kitchen cook wanted in Union County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Union County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
