Mobile crane operator wanted in Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Washington County, Rhode Island. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
