Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Chirang, Assam. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. The role involves glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame. We are looking for an eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads; able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop; knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
