Tig welder wanted in Tamenglong

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Tamenglong, Manipur. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Full-time with occasional weekends.
